I wanted something for when I leave my car at the offsite airport parking lot and don't like using the "clubs" as they damage the steering wheel. This fit the bill nicely. Like all locks, nothing is truly unbreakable, but this super thick cable should slow down any would-be car thieves. Keys are laser engraved, so I doubt it'll be picked. Color options are nice. Found one that matches the accents of my car. When using, make sure you push down on the whole lock buckle assemble to disengage from your belt receiver in your car. Bright color also makes it obvious it's locked to anyone peaking inside the car

In previous reviews a few people mentioned the difficulty getting it unlocked, so based on this I have the lock key on a carabiner on my keys which I take off to unlock the lock.
This works very well.
I always apply the steering lock then feed it through the steering wheel and push into the seat belt clip, making sure that the key insert is away from the side of the drivers side seat, easier to put the key in.
I love the fact it has a metal casing not plastic.
It is strong and robust and I’m sure it is a deterrent.
I feel much safer now leaving my van.
I went for the more expensive upgraded version of this lock with the metal seatbelt clip/cover (cheaper ones are plastic and more flimsy looking). It’s easy to fit (74 plate Corsa) and easy to remove with the key. Not sure how long it would keep a determined car thief from stealing a car but it might make them think twice.
This product was ready to use straight out of the box, with no assembly required. I love the bright red finish—it looks good and makes the lock clearly visible to anyone looking inside the car. It’s incredibly simple to use and feels very strong and secure. Just seeing it through the window should be enough to make a potential thief think twice.
The best part is that it folds up neatly and fits underneath the driver’s seat, so it stays out of the way but is always within reach when needed. Definitely a five-star product and great value for money.
I was looking for a highly visible deterrent that wouldn’t damage the steering wheel and would be easy to use. This product definitely deserves five stars. The cable has a protective fabric cover, so it doesn’t scratch the interior, and it’s quick to fit and remove. It’s also clearly visible from outside the car.
The cable is long enough to reach from the steering wheel to the seat belt buckle, even with the seat pushed all the way back. Another big advantage is that the lock covers the seat belt release button. Even if someone managed to cut the cable, removing the lock from the buckle would still be difficult.
